Our barrel aged coffee involves a process of dry aging the green coffee beans in spent whiskey barrels prior to roasting. This process results in a cup that while being predominantly whiskey forward, maintains the profile of the base coffee. In this case that is nicaragua, so be prepared for a coffee with a profile of whiskey, chocolate, and sweet peanut.
